Please can you direct me to the source of this info?
"Air was sampled by means of Hycon RCS High Flow Touch Air Sampler. 100L of air was sampled at a rate of 100Litre/min and collected directly onto an agar strip."
Thats the method that was used.
The source is a decade of experience in this field as the FDA does not have a set limit.

So how would I reference my acceptable limit?
What results have you been getting?

It's been my experience that kind of reference will not work well with an auditor. It is almost like 'it's how we always done it'.
There is no guidance in the US for the water temperature for hand washing, but I know I got a minor for it being too cold 3 years ago. It tested at 96, but the auditor could not produce anything saying it had to be anything but warm. We settled for 100F.
