Hi all

im after some advise, we are preparing for  SALSA audit however have just taken on a new unit. With this my company has brought share in a new company and moved them into half of the building, they also have access to our building through a chilled loading dock.

we are responsible for their pest control, building maintenance, vehicles etc, they are currently running as their own separate entity business wise. how would this affect an audit, would the be included?

Hi VictoriaRoseB,

Your post is a bit confusing, can you clarify the situation:

Employees of the other business have access to your building and load their products through your chilled loading dock?

Are both units registered with or approved by the Local Authority?

How has this ‘merger’ affected security measures that ensure only authorised personnel have access to handling and storage areas in your unit?

Kind regards,

Tony
