New Member in Ontario Canada

Good morning,

I am the SQF practitioner and EH&S coordinator (strange combination in some respects but makes some sense here, but I wear many hats) for a packaging company in Ontario Canada. 

We have been SQF certified for about 9 years and I have been involved in the implementation of the code here for the past 5 years. 

I am at the secondary plant for our company with the parent plant in Nova Scotia and I have a great amount of support from them, although obviously delayed as they aren't always available to me at an instant.

We do well on our audits, typically going between good and excellent, our last 3 scores being 95, 98 and 96 over the last 3 years respectively. 

I do feel we have quite a strong food safety culture, but there is always room to improve. 

I initially found the site looking for info on edition 10.  

SQFI have opened up public commenting for changes to the code, and I was told that there would be a draft available before SQF Unites (which I will be attending this year for the first time with my Nova Scotian counterpart) but I have been unable to find any information as of yet.

Welcome to the site DWEP! "SQF practitioner and EH&S coordinator" not really a strange combo at all, it has been my role at a few companies. Compliance Manager/director is the title I've seen go with that one fairly well.
