Hello All

I'm Quality Specialist at flexible packaging company.

We're running glass, brittle plastics, ceramics and similar material control monthly but really appreciated your suggestion in terms of forms that would be more practical then this we're using right now... with 38 machines (we're verifying machines and area around them) it's taking ages so what I'm looking for is to simplify that necessary activity

Would you be able to share forms you are working on at your plants?

Any suggestion are more than welcome as well

Thank you in advance.

That's a tough one.   I'm doing the same monthly, and unfortunately there's not much you can do other than do it.   Maybe one thing you could do is train the machine operators and have them quickly fill out a preop checklist and add that stuff to it?   That may be more work than what you're dong though by the time you gather all that paperwork, file and retain it, etc.

The other option is pretty simple:   get rid of all the glass, plastic, ceramic.
