Where Can I Find Basic Spanish Food Safety Training Resources?

Hi,

I have a couple of supervisors who are spanish speakers. When I started learning food safety I received a lot of help from the Friday Webinars, and I was wondering if there were any spanish webinars available, or if you all know any places where I can get them basic training? Corrective actions, pre-op, root cause, calibrations etc.

I see on this page (https://www.zosilear...rance-training/) they have training in Spanish for  Acciones correctivas y preventivas (CAPA) y Análisis de la causa raíz (RCA).  I didn't see anything for calibrations or pre op.

Outside of creating my own internal trainings I have used Alchemy in the past which does supply multiple languages for food safety courses.

There's several universities with food safety programs offer documents in Spanish.  Whether or not it applies to your situation... Here's a few

BRCGS has a course in Spanish:

USDA/FSIS offers a lot of resources in Spanish.  You'll have to click through the menu on the left and sometimes search down the page but there's Spanish resources:

I've mostly just used google translate to change my own materials into Spanish.  The trick is to over simplify the English and grammar you use.  I write the English as if I'm talking to my 4th grader.  Be terse and to the point using basic words.  Then you should check that the Spanish or whatever language translate back to English.  If that translation doesn't come back, then change your English word choice and try again.
