Alternating Sanitizers – AlPet D2 vs. QUAT Strips

Our company has decided to alternate sanitizers monthly. We were using Sanitime only and a wall mixer. I validated concentrations using QUAT color strips. It was suggested we use AlPet D2 as our alternate monthly sanitizer and simply change the feeder tube from the mixer from one 5-gallon container (Sanitime, AlPet D2) to the other at the end of the month. Since beginning this system with AlPet D2, my QUAT strips are always negative. I see there is an AlPet D2 QUAT-free, but this is not what we have.

Questions:

1. Do I need a different validation than Quats for AlPet D2?

2. Can Alpet D2 be used in a wall mixer for the sanitizing sink? Getting worried this might not be a valid use...

Sorry if this is a really basic question. Trying to learn...

Alpet D2 is almost always a non mixed product - use as is.   Do you have one that requires dillution?

I love allpet for places where using water is discouraged / dry environments.  its not the best solution for a sink.   Its stupid expensive.   If you want to use it, I would say just get the spray botlles and spray it on anything you want to sanitize.  no need to test the dillution as its "predilluted" by MFG.

If we wish to alternate concentrated sanitizing solution monthly for the sink through the mixing system, what other chemical solutions are possible besides Sanitime?
