In 2024, Mexico was the leading food exporter to the US, with more than 5 million shipments.

The most exported foods were miscellaneous foods, followed by fruits and vegetables.

There was a 0.044% rejection rate, representing 1,279 shipments, of which 545 were due to adulteration (pesticides, salmonella, food additives).
