our company is buying ingredients from the national level brokers. Is this mandatory from BRCGS version 9 to have the manufacturers details or brokers Product information Form and food safety certificates will work.

Yes.  It's in section 3.5.1.5.  You need to know the identity of and approve the last manufacturer as well as approving the broker.  So it's not just having the details but having all of the approval documents from them as if they were the direct supplier.  In practice, this is often evidence they are GFSI approved (but I always get the non con list as well because sometimes I will follow up with further questions or a visit if needed.)
