Hi harcoskiralylany,

I’m sort of wondering if that email came from BRCGS? Or if it did that it was just a paid promo?

It might be useful but it will still need to be Calibrated by a UKAS laboratory so an NPL Calibrated Thermometer with probe would do the same job at a fraction of the price.

Also note that a portable NPL Calibrated Thermometer with probe enables you to check thermometers in situ, so thermometers on equipment in processing/production areas etc.

Kind regards,

Tony
