How to validate and verify a closed continuous milk pasteuriser

Hi Folks,

Can anyone guide me on how to verify/validate pasteurizing of a liquid milk. On paper our pasteurizer does what it's supposed to do,

but how do I verify/validate it. For reference, this is a closed, continuous system. Mainly interested in verifying/validating time/temperature aspects.

Hi Sean,

One of the best standard out there is the PMO: 2023 Revision Grade ”A” Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO)

For example Table 4. Equipment Tests - Batch Pasteurizers and HTST and HHST Pasteurization Systems (Refer to Appendix I. of this Ordinance.) Page 111

Kind regards,

Tony
