Noro virus - Is it affecting your operations

I read the news paper this morning and noticed that 100.000 brittons suffer under the noro-virus right know.
Last week a hospital was closed partially overhere in The Netherlands because staff became ill.

Has anybody taken additional measures against the noro virus?

Hi Okido, my youngest son was ill early on during the night (throwing up), but he only did a small amount twice at about half hour intervals and then he slept through. As he has no other problems I don't think it's noro virus. According to the news yesterday noro virus is very nasty, the first you know you have it is when you are projectileing your vomit around your local environment. They say it is highly contagious and you should not leave the house for 48 hours after all clear. Do not go to the doctors, work or anywhere. News said it was a risk to old and young in some cases and also food handlers are high risk of spreading for obvious reasons. Perhaps 200,000 people per week will be affected. I will do well to avoid it with three children going back to school next week.

The list of incidents at the end is particularly interesting. I noticed very few have any specific explanations / causes attached. This may regretfully be a common conclusion.

Yes they all went back yesterday, so we shall wait and see. We went to my Wifes Mothers for dinner on Sunday and as we walked through the door on eof my other sons threw up on the floor. Literally two seconds after we arrived. Fortunately it was a wooden floor. As that was the end of it I don't think it was noro virus.

Has anyone got experience of noro virus either personally or have your colleagues or employees had it?
