Irresistible Force V’s Immovable Object

When an irresistible force meets an immovable object - what exactly is it that happens?
The reason for asking is a bit silly - I was the instigator of a little tomfoolery in the office earlier which ended up with me walking full force (17 stone / 107kg) into a door frame. Apart from being very painful (that'll teach me to try and kick someone up the bottom) it sparked a discussion regarding the origin of the question and also what happens when it happens. I had a quick look on google but couldn't find the answer. Anyone know?
