Signatures for teams

Hi
In our printing department there is a strong collegial feeling and strong feelings against individual signatures. They consider work done by one person of the team as having been performed by the whole team. They don't like to see one person as responsible.
The specific case is signatures on our cleaning schedules, but could have to do with most aspects of signing in production.
Is it acceptable/possible to have the people sign as a team?
Greetings,
Søren

What signatures are required on module documents?
Would new signatures on a policy require a new version?
Use of digital/electronic signatures
Transformation into paperless records and electronic signatures?
Digital signatures/authorization

Very interesting question Søren. It sounds very utopian or is it borne out of a unionised (closed shop) mentality? Whether or not if I were management I would want traceability down to the individual.
In the BRC Packaging Standard under Housekeeping and Cleaning 5.5 it simply says records of cleaning must be kept, it doesn't say that cleaning should be signed as completed by a specific person or level of management. So yes team signing does seem possible.
Verification of cleaning would probably be carried out during GMP audits at which time you could either say a hearty well done to the entire printing department or kick their collective butts. You could always give each operator a different coloured pen.
What do others think?

Simon
