The Best and Worst HACCP Software
Started by Simon, Mar 18 2005 02:51 PM
Over the last couple of years I've been approached by three separate companies who wanted SaferPak to promote and affiliate sell their HACCP Software through our web site. Previously (mainly because I've been too busy with other things) I turned them down, however I am now considering it again. As I've never used HACCP software before I wanted to throw it over to the HACCP professionals to see what software you have previously used. I know I asked this question a while back but we have a lot more members nowadays and hopefully there will be a lot more input.
Specifically I would like to know which HACCP Software is the best and why? And also which is the worst and why?
Regards,
Simon

Simon,
I have tried a couple and still find Excel the best. Why? I'm not limited to the preprogramed formats and it doesn't cost me a penny(extra).

So shall I cross you off my list of potential customers?I have tried a couple and still find Excel the best. Why? I'm not limited to the preprogramed formats and it doesn't cost me a penny(extra).

I'd still be interested if it was any good.
my thoughts
Dont touch haccp software that does not reflect codex.
My personnel favorite at the moment is the chipping campden food research centre software. good blend of rigidity, simplicity and it is not expensive.
hope that is of use.
