Hi all,
I have been working in Dubai, UAE in implementing ISO 14000 , ISO 9000 the 2000 version, and health,safety , security management systems almost for 7 years in the oil and petroleum and paper pulp industries. . All quality and HSSE , HS&E professionals agree that the trend nowadays is to have OIMS (Operational Integrated Management systems) which address ISO 9000 , ISO 14000 , EHS , and HSSE management in one process , and the companies trends nowadays especially in UAE are to employ one staff under whom whom will be the responsibility to handle above jobs , normally he'll be engineer who has worked in implementation of such systems.
Am still staying in Dubai and working as quality assurance specialist, there are a lot of mutation in above fields, and jobs are named under different titles like HSE , HS&E coordinator,officer,advisor,manager,specialist,engineer,supervisor,or safety engineer,QA manager,QC manager,..etc.
