Looking for a Laundry Audit Template?

Hi All,

I have only just registered and I am hoping to find someone to help.
I have been asked to audit out laundry supplier. I have not done this before and only have a template for our ingredient suppliers.
Can anyone let me know what I should specifically check for or does anyone have a templete they could attach?

Can you provide a bit more information about your products and the items being laundered please.

Generally a laundry should be applying similar hygiene procedures to your ingredients suppliers. The post washing processes and disinfection/sterilisation are areas where you will want to have a look at the controls to ensure correct disinfection/sterilisation and verification of disinfection/sterilisation. Then corrrect handling and prevention of contamination.

We are a low risk food processor and we only contract out for laundering of our protective coats. Currently we operate 1 single change per week per wearer.

Okay before you do the audit ask the laundry supplier for details of any approvals they have, their HACCP if they have one, and details of their process.

PM or e-mail if you don't want to display these on the website and I will see if I can find something appropriate.
