Normative references

Greetings!

Can anyone explain me in detail/plain english about Normative references, clause 2 of ISO 22000:2005

What should i include in FSMS Manual, Is HSE system and policies and procedures related to ISO 9001 can be included.

Needs experts advice for the above subject.

I hate to stick you with this but "It is up to you".

I have an integrated manual which includes ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 (I call it my Food Safety and Quality Management System Manual or FS.QMS for short). All I do for section 2 is refer to the standards as references (Note: ISO 9001:XXXX most recent version and ISO:22000:XXXX most recent version helps to avoid changes everytime the standard is updated) as well as refer to an "Appendix" listing all Standard Operating Procedures that I mention in my manual.

The best rule of thumb is, if you mention it in the manual than put it on the list as a reference.

Little hard to work and maintain both - ISO 9001 & ISO 22000.

I have only ISO 22000 certification,

apart from I a maintaining ISO 9001, HSE and ERP systems (documented and implemented but without certification)
