Looking for ISO 22000 training companies in Wales

This is the first time for me to use this site ''so here goes''
I have been given the task to get accredatation into the business /////
I am looking at iso22000 any advise ,does anybody know of good training companies in wales
to help me on this.

Sorry about the delay in getting back.
My Company are Bakers Confectioners and Savoury Manufacturers
Customers are Cappa Spar
400 Independants corner shops etc.
Frozen Wholesale (Pallet Drops)
My Role is GM
I want some Accreditation in The Company Before our customers start to request it
Am looking at ISO22000 also SALSA
Te training is for myself so that I can set up internal audits, do a Gap analysis and generally get familier with accredation
procedures

Thanks for the reply , What did you mean certain ? is ISO22000 that difficult to achieve ?
if so is there any other type of accreditation you could recommend .

Normally you make a decision on which standard to become certified to based on customer requirements, industry, country of operation and personal preference. The major food safety management system standards in the world are BRC, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF 2000. They are all very similar and have HACCP at their core. In the UK if you supply retailers the standard to go for is BRC, if you don't and have no plans to then you are free to choose which you go for.Hi Simon,

Personally in the UK I would go for BRC as it is the most widely recognised.

I do not see any idea as to yr technical background. I presume you hv a reasonable grounding in HACCP. If not, you can expect a significant effort although i expect yr company has had to dig into this area already. One disdvantage in ISO22000, IMO, is that you will hv to extend yr theoretical HACCP knowledge base in this respect. How much depends on yr product / process and (probably)the ability of yr consultant. Some differences between the standards are quickly revealed by a quick scan through this forum eg see this thread -

Offhand, i would hv guessed that the existing take-up in UK is BRC dominant, ISO22000 a rather distant runner-up and the other competitors one further lap behind People in UK should hv a more accurate idea. As Simon implied, the choice has so far been a customer-driven decision in most cases, especially if you are in retail.
