FEP Search Group - anyone know this Recruiting firm?

I am about to start a job search and I got a few emails from recruiters at this company. But I want to work with only a good recruiting firm that has a real chance of helping me. Here is the recruiting company I am thinking about using:

Some friends have said they are very good but also read that they don't always get back to you when you send a resume. Why don't recruiters call you back when you send a resume? Isn't it their job to help job seekers like me?

Anyway, I am looking for any opinions about them from people who have used FEP Search Group to find a job. I want to know I can trust them before sending my resume.

FYI, I am seeking a Quality Manager role somewhere on the West Coast if possible. My experience is primarily in dairy and meat.

Thank you.

Just saw your post...and yes, FEP Search Group really is a great recruiting firm in the Food industry - probably the best. But NO, it is not their job to get you a job. Recruiters get paid by the company they are recruiting for - not by you. Chances are you're not going to get a call back unless you are a perfect fit for one of their job openings. Doesn't that make sense? I have read a couple of reviews where job seekers are complaining that the search firm doesn't call them back....but that is downright silly! Harvard doesn't admit 99% of the applicants who send their resumes....so is Harvard a bad school? No! Harvard is the world's top university.

FEP Search Group is the same. They are a professional, high grade executive recruiting firm. They work with the best job seekers and the best hiring companies. But that does not mean they are going to call you back - unless you are a perfect fit for one of their jobs. That's why the best advice anyone could give you is to send your resume to multiple recruiting firms - not just FEP Search Group. That way, if one firm doesn't call you, maybe another will. You don't have to be so paranoid about working with recruiters - generally, they're very useful to job seekers. If you are a good fit, of course. You could also try posting your resume at:

- this is a job site that has a lot of Food QA / Safety jobs come on from time to time.

Hope that helps.

Members BillGFoodQA and LucianoM both resolve to the same IP address. Add that to the fact one answered the others post within minutes leads me to conclude we have another case of MPDTTSA. Or to give the full title:

Multiple Personality Disorder Tag Team Spam Attack.

It's as old as the hills and a trick FEP Search Group have used previously - clicky

If they need to rely on this kind of underhand promotion I really wouldn’t trust them as a reliable recruiting firm and personally I would avoid them at all costs.
