Hi guys

i dont know if anyone has ever had a problem with the floor staff who cannot differentiate between grams and kilograms when using the scales in production. This results in them weighing incorrectly and records wrong. how can you best deal with this considering you have explained the difference between the two in an inhouse training????

Dear tech,

I presume you mean analog balances ?

Depends what production function you are referring to but if "packing", one simple option is to mark / attach small coloured stickers onto the desired weighing range tolerances on the balance itself (ie where the needle point moves).

If the problem is at incoming materials, more education involved.

Or digital if rich.

Surely it can't be all employees, so then the solution must be close supervision to identify and correct the problem.
