I interpret this clause to mean that equipment such as Pallet Jacks and Forklifts should be included in cleaning regimens and preventive maintenance programs with documentation that illustrates this.

I would also add that the clause appears to make reference to equipment used for unloading materials. For example the unloading of ingredients from bulk delivery vehicles e.g. sugar, flour, milk. The equipment used such as hoses, pipes, valves, pumps etc should be included in cleaning and maintenance programs.
I guess the thinking here is that these items have traditionally not received as much attention as core production items.

It depends upon what you're talking about. A food contact hose for delivering flour may be done daily but a trailer which only has pallets on it of food in two layers of packaging might be fine to do weekly or fortnightly. Look at your situation and make a judgement. If it doesn't seem often enough when you've put it in place, increase the frequency. If it seems like overkill, decrease.
does anybody have any samples of this procedures documented? like for forklifts?
Does anyone else have an adequate procedure for cleaning food contact hoses when unloading ingredients? Eg, unloading bulk dry and wet ingredients?
