Please can someone help me....
I am having an slight issue understanding this section fully on what I am required to do.
If the customer approves the transport do I need any further documentation to aid this clause. This transport takes the customers product straight to their depots.
We also use a 3rd party transport for our food service who i have found out does not have any reconised standard. How can I ensure I comply with the standard. What do i need to do
If there is any attachments any body can give me this would be ace
Thanks

When I was working in a factory with customer approved transport, we always ensured we had the relevant details regarding washing of vehicles, breakdown etc on file - handy if there is an issue raised at depots. I would expect there is some guideline documentation available from your customer on their logistic requirements also.
Regarding third party, interpretation guideline states '...all of the requirements specified in this section shall be communicated to that third party. They will be clearly defined in the contract and verified (for example, by a supplier audit).' Further goes on to state, alternative is to be accredited to Global Standard for Storage and Distribution or similar recognised standard.
Hope this helps.
