I have some thoughts...unfortunately related to a comment made in the opening minutes before a webinar. They, (the CB) were not seing the kind of numbers they expected for surveillance audits...

We just got our Certificate of Registration today(20 days after finishing the CAs). The CB have decided(despite being outright told by the auditor not to worry) that we are going to have to have a surveillance audit. There's two thousand dollars and two weeks' prep work I'll never see again.
