Recommended sink liner for washing equipment in a production area?

Hi, I didn't see this topic come up yet in the forums, but what type(s) of material are typically used or recommended for use as a sink liner for washing equipment in a production area?

It is a three- compartment sink, and equipment can bang the bottom of the sink and sometimes dent or scratch it.  Our maintenance manager bought a flooring-type material to help with this, but it seems like there would be a better material for this.  I just don't want it to build up material or bacteria or have some sort of weird chemical that has treated it.  We are regulated under dietary supplement cGMP's and organic regulations.

Thanks,

Matthew

I'd think a stainless steel rach that would sit an inch or so off the bottom of the sink.

Something like this perhaps?

matthewcc - it's not clear from your post if you're trying to protect the sink or the equipment?
