Differences between IFS and ISO 22000 and 9001:2008
i am certified iso 2000:2005 and iso 9001:2008,i should like to pass to ifs what i must add
Hi greeneye,
Thanks for the query and Welcome to the Forum !
The standard procedure is -
(1) download the ifs standard (free)
(2) Do a Gap Analysis
(3) Respond to the "Gaps".
I suggest you do (1,2) and then return to the forum with any unresolved queries.
Unfortunately there are only a few users of ifs standard routinely on this forum but we will do our best to help.

IFS Food extends Corporate policy/Corporate principles (Clause 1.1) to include environmental responsibility, sustainability, ethics and personnel responsibility. It is also far more prescriptive in prerequisite programme requirements compared to ISO 22000 which is why the FSSC 22000 scheme includes ISO 22002-1 Prerequisite programmes on food safety Part 1: Food manufacturing.
