Traceability of generic products into the supply chain

I require some guidance in how to trace generic packaging products, which are not palletized, to our first customer (this could be a retail outlet, packhouse, distribution centre).  We load loose bundles into delivery trucks from different batches and handle quite a large volume of product daily, so recording information manually is not really an option.  Any ideas?

Hi Ms karenlou

One possible option is to use the batch code scanner with USB and link it with an excel sheet.he excel sheet should be programmed so that it will record the batch number only once and the second column on the excel sheet record the number of time each batch code was scanned.

This way you will be able to get both the numbers of batched loaded in the truck and how many packets of each batch were loaded.

Let me know if it work for you?

Kind regards

Humaid Khan
