Supplier location near a sewage plant

Hi all,

Didn't know which section this would come under but so I put it under buildings design and construction.

We've recently been auditing our suppliers with questionnaires and found that one of them is 300m away from a sewage plant, but there is a fairly wide river between the 2 sites. Personally I'm not too concerned about direct contamination as the flow of the river runs parallel to the sewage plant and supplier but part of me does wonder if anything could travel that kind of distance in the air and affect the taste or smell of any products (or even contaminate it with traces faecal matter).

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Regards,

Andy
