Reference Amounts Customarily Consumed (RACC) for canned tuna

Dear All,

New Federal Regulation on Serving Size / RACC :

- Serving Size for Canned Tuna changed from 1/4 cup (56g) 2 oz to (85g) 3 oz.

- All containers with < 200% of RACC must be labeled as a single serving

- Containers with > 200 and < 300 % of the RACC will be required to bear a second column of nutrition information "per container". Dual column labeling is required regardless of whether product is in discreet units or is a bulk food.

My question is what about containers with more than 300% of the RACC (e.g. 63oz)?

Anyone can help me please.

Thanks and Regards

Avila

Avila,

Containers with more than 300% have a single label with the number of servings per container.
