It depends on what kinds of pest you want to control? Insecticide may effect to your little one since it contains chemical. For cockroaches, ants and flies, you should only use food grade insecticide/ glue board with the lock block/ box and keep far away from your little one. Hope this may help you. :roflmao:

Hi everyone,just wondering what the go is with pest control. i have an 18 month yr old running, rolling around and i need to get the pest control done. is pest control harmful to little ones?what are my options?
My first thought was rodents but not sure what the issue is? If it is rodents, fully enclosed break back traps should be fine like this.
Alternatively you could spray Malathion around the outside of your house to keep insects from entering. As it needs to be sprayed very close to your house,very low risk for your little one (it's what we use at my house)
Hi there, I have heard about fumigation chambers which can be the best option to control pest.
If pest control will be done using pesticides, then ask your bug guy for a copy of the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the chemical that will be used. Or you can google it, then look at the Toxicity Section. The LD50 will state how much lethal the product is.
I agree with @KiaraRicherd, non-residue chemicals will be gone in 1 hour. Just get your kid out for a few hours.
Another option is to ask the pest controller to use only natural pesticides.
