Internal Audit for Low Risk Facility

Hello, does anyone have an example of internal audit risk assessment for a low risk facility producing low risk product? All examples that I have seen out there have very in depth internal audit program which requires quarterly, 6-monthly internal audits. 

You are talking about two different things - which one do  you need a guide on - risk assessment or internal audit?

Thanks for clarifying. I need guidance on risk assessment to determine the frequency of internal audits. For example, I have all BRC clause listed (from 1-7), and the senior management section is low risk, so we only audit it annually. Is there a risk assessment template out there for low risk facility?

Hi kelia,

IIRC, based on the BRC-intended interpretation of clause 3.4.1 (eg "covering") / previous IA-related threads, a sigle annual audit is no longer acceptable to BRC.

This is why the examples posted on the Forum are not trivially simple.
