BRC section 4.16.6

Hello All,

BRC requirements states that third-party transport agencies should have ether a GFSI accreditation or being verified (i.e.: by an audit) that all requirements from a contract are respected.

Is having a HACCP plan and a signed contract enough to comply with the BRC requirement?

Thank you

Hi StefanoB85,

A risk assessment is always useful for this. Take a look at http://www.ifsqn.com...vice-suppliers/. As you have noticed, not all transport companies have GFSI, and from my experience, some of the best ones only have ISO9001. In the UK membership of the Road Haulage Association and similar is often a good guide.
