Nutrition Fact Panel Ranges?

Started by , May 29 2018 09:47 PM

Hi sjenkins,

I think you are referring to that document https://www.fda.gov/...m063113.htm#how

Check section "How compliance works 21 CFR 101.9 (g)

There are 3 type of nutrients, Class I, Class II and Third Group

Hope that was helpful

I am being told that the Nutrition Fact Panel can be within a range (e.g., calories can be with x% of the stated amount). I can't find any references stating that this is the case, or what the ranges would be. Does someone have experience with NFP labeling requirements that can point me int he right direction?

FDA has rounding rules for nutritional labeling; perhaps that is what you are referring to.
