Tesco not sticking to TFMS Audit schedule
Hi
Can any one shed any light as to why Tesco are not auditing according to their procedures . Which is 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after their last site audit. We are a small supplier and they are now nearly 2 months overdue .Key people in our business have been given holidays etc as we were not expecting any retailers or BRC audits.
Any insights would be gratefully received. Our (Tesco) technical manager is not talking to us .
Thanks
If I were you, I would contact the QA department of Tesco directly, or your account manager. If your tech manager isn't speaking to you I'd be trying to find another audit company as well.
I'm guessing that it's a certification body issue and not a Tesco problem, they probably aren't even aware that this is happening.
You will stand out from the pack when you contact Tesco yourself, and in a good way
Thanks Scampi .. I realise the end of my post wasn't very clear. I should of said our Tesco Technical Manager is not responding to us asking what is going on …
then get your account manager on it........they don't get paid if your product isn't on the shelf so they've got a very different approach to your dilemma!
Hi Izzimac
Is your issue with a routine audit by the Technical Manager or a PIU Audit?
If its PIU then they may very well be behind with the audit schedule
You will need to update the 'unavailable days" in the TFMS
If its a Technical Manager then you need to chase them.
In theory the TM has no influence over the PIU audit schedule other than they can advise of any concerns they may have
