How to update SOP's?

Good Day
I have recently enrolled in new position as a Food Safety Technologist and need to update the current SOP's we have on our meat plant. What are the key things i need to look at since this is all new to me.

Nutrition Information Update on the Label
If there are no changes in SOPs and Policies, do we need to update the review date if it is more than three years?
Withdrawal of FSSC 22000 certification do we need to update the manual to V 5.1?

What kind of SOPs are you thinking to Update ?
For example the typical requirement for many hygiene-type SOPs is that they must effectively enable the reader to carry out the described task/program.
