Scale calibration company requirements

Hi,

Are there any specific requirements for the company that performs scale calibration? We use a lab for micro testing that is ISO17025 certified so I was wondering if there's any type of certification required for scales.

Thank you for your input

Hi svelasan,

The same principle should apply, the organization performing the calibration should have the calibration method within the scope of their certification/accreditation.

Kind regards,

Tony
