Tesco Food Standard v.7

NEW Tesco Food Standard have been published on TQC last Friday without alerts or emails being sent.

We have been informed by the auditor that showed up yesterday.

All audits conducted from Monday 25/02/2019 will be based on new standard.

please share to avoid NCs

This is very useful - thank you for sharing.

 

Pretty typical of UK retailers who believe their suppliers have nothing better to do than check their portals daily to see if there have been any changes to their standards.......

 

(one of the retailers used to change their micro testing protocols periodically & didn't announce the changes - not recognising that you have to obtain the media, train your staff & add the new method to the scope of your laboratory accreditation - when I questioned the logic they responded that we should be checking their portal daily!!)

policies will be updated as well, I forgot to mention this

 

we do check portals for alerts etc but library and policies are on internal audit schedule (done for tesco in Jan)

 

If the auditor showed up a next week we most definitely would not achieve the score we did as noone was aware of new Standard,

especially when format has changed and requirements

 

shame the culture and treatment of suppliers are getting worse than trying to improve communication and relationships

Hi there - this should be on the Tesco website - Tesco suppliers would have a log in for this.

 

If it is not there your Tesco technical manager should be able to provide this?...

 

My employer doesn't supply to Tesco so I can't access the site.

Probably worth pointing out the NEW Standard is only called TFS - Tesco Food Standard 2019and is now classified as V1
