Quantitative Risk Assessment in HARPC Plans
Hello friend
Can any one advise or suggest me - hot to go for Quantitative Risk Assessment in HARPC Plans as a part of BRC 8.0 standard Food safety plan though HARPC not mention but covered everything as per HARPC in FSMA standard.
Can any one explain the quantitative risk assessment grid matrix i attached herewith.
Hi Simon

This looks very much like the scoring that another user asked about in this thread recently: https://www.ifsqn.co...ds/#entry139457
I think they came across it via this article that provides a bit more discussion: https://www.foodsafe...od-safety-plan/

This matrix is presumably a mixture/combination of linear and non-linear scoring methods. The latter can be developed by one or more of a variety of techniques such as intuitive, exponential, algorithmic. Both Qualitative and Quantitative aspects are often "mixed" together.
The various categories shown are probably subjectively determined (ie intuitive guesswork  ).
Offhand, the only way to know more is likely to require access to the referenced source document (= book). (Unfortunately seems not available for review on IT).
If you wish to get an idea of just how complicated risk matrices can be, try this post/thread -
