Section 4.9.3.5 says that where they pose a risk to product, bulbs and strip lights shall be adequately protected.  Does this mean light covers would be required, or is using shatterproof bulbs sufficient?  Thanks!

Hey! yeah so we use covers as well as shatter proof coatings on all of our bulbs in the production area.  I would think that taking those steps would fulfill the requirement in the BRC

Yes, shatterproof bulbs are fine - a little catch however, be sure to have proof that the bulbs are in fact shatterproof - otherwise it will be an issue at audit time.

Agree with above, and make sure they are listed on the glass & brittle plastic audit.
