Hi everybody, I got another question.

FDA says: (2) Receive training in the principles of food hygiene and food safety, including the importance of employee health and personal hygiene, as appropriate to the food, the facility and the individual’s assigned duties.

Could you tell me the training you use to satisfy this FDA requirement?

You believe the following training's would satisfy the requirements of the FDA for each work position?

  1. Sanitation Technician = Good Hygiene Practice (including cross-contamination) / Sanitation Procedures.
  2. Quality Control Technician = Good Hygiene Practice (including cross-contamination) / Preventive Control
  3. General Labor or Line Worker = Good Hygiene Practice (including cross-contamination)

Thanks

Hi Charles.C

I would like to know the modules or themes you use to train your employees considering their position.

I wrote, base on my opinion, the training that should be given to employees depending on their work position. I would like to compare what I think  should be the training with what you consider should be the training to meet the requirements of the FDA.

Thanks

Besides the items you mentioned, if any of the employees are involved with CCP's, they'll need to be trained on them/HACCP. If you have allergens, all employees will need to be trained as well as Food Defense training.
