Sampling plan with no laboratory on site

Hi All, 

We have no laboratory on site, and all our sample will be send out for lab testing .. If this is the case, what would our sampling plan like?

You need to risk asses the sampling plan to define how many samples you have and also what you want to test it for. Also all depends of what type of product you have frozen/chilled/ambient, baked/unbaked ....

There isn't really any reason for it to look that different in principle to the sampling plan you'd have if you did have a lab on site, at least in terms of structure.

We use a mix of internal/external analysis, so the plan defines the usual test, frequency, method etc., simply with an extra column for where the analysis is done - either internal, or the name of the external lab (or labs, in the cases where we have more than one that is approved for that method/product) to which the sample is sent.

Thanks for the input. Just wondering do u all collect counter sample when sampling is carried out. what would the procedure like? I have insert the draft of the sampling schedule , ur comments is much appreciated.

You will potentially want more detail (or if necessary an associated procedure or work instruction) on exactly what is sampled, where, and how - e.g. your attachment is all about water, so is this from a tap in the office kitchen, the gents' bathroom, from a hose outlet, from a tank, all of these, none of these etc., and is it sampled by filling a bucket and decanting into a used plastic bottle that Bob found in the staff kitchen, directly into a sterile water sampling bottle with sodium thiosulphate etc.

Obviously being a touch facetious, but there are many weird things that people will do if not given nice clear guidance ;)

Perhaps you could clarify what the 25th A Schedule, 1985 is ? (I assume the annual frequency listed is simply to comply with a particular requirement ?)
