What is the best material for a staff uniform in a bakery?

can please  help for what material used for uniform  -  we are bakery industry - what is better  cotton or what for uniform

When I worked at a bakery operation they used the normal cotton aprons. We had an in-house laundering service where they would be cleaned twice daily. I also used to swab aprons quarterly. They were perfectly fine. GFSI auditors & Federal auditors were okay with them as long as they were cleaned, maintained, controlled and did not impose a food safety risk.
