Example of a formal agreement with a co-man or transportation?
Hi All,
Can anyone provide me an example of what a formal agreement with a co-man or transportation look like? I know I'm supposed to have these but I don't know what exactly I need it to say. 90% of our trucking is LTL. We handle 100% almond ingredients. I've reached out to most of our trucking companies who seem more than willing to help me out for my initial SQF audit but I don't want to formulate something that they are not going to be willing to sign. As far a trucking, I'm thinking my agreement would pertain to statements of product security and conditions of the load. Please help!

I have attached a transportation agreement that we currently use. This was approved by the SQF Auditor.
Our agreement focuses on the condition of the truck and storage of the food products (we transport produce). IMO they seem like pretty standard requirements that all trucking companies should follow.

I also have this problem, we are a raw nut processing facility & all of our carriers have some sort of GFSI cert. except for one. I created a "questionnaire" because it was a minor hit on our audit, based on a lot of stuff I found searching the forums, and tailored to our specific needs. This one from jperri is v. nice!
