Hi All,

We are a packaging company and are SQF certified. We are having challeneges with getting sanitation supplies. We use no rinse sanitizing wipes for our food contact surfaces. Could anyone advise any alternate methods of sanitation or can help with any supplier leads for the same

Thanks in advance,

What sanitizer is used in those wipes that you use? Also how does your cleaning look like? Just wipe equipment with those wipes and no rinsing, right?

You can get regular sanitizer that does not need rinsing after application and not in the form of wipes. For example we use Quat sanitizer (Ammonium chloride) and Drysan duo (hydrogen peroxide/isopropanol) from Ecolab. We just spray and no rinse. We also have bleach (found to be effective against COVID-19) that of course is diluted and can be sprayed on contact surfaces. Perhaps contact Ecolab and see what options they have? I believe they may have something for you.

Hope it helps!

Drysan Duo is on back order.  We ordered a 50 gal drum last week and it won't ship until 4/21.  Likely anything that is viable alternative is on back order.

The best bet is to try and find alcohol somewhere....if you can get 70% alcohol somewhere you can put it in spray bottles and spray the surfaces (wipe if needed to remove residues, respray if wiping).

Good luck!  Tight market right now.

I have been reached out by ChemStation and Covalent Chemical letting me know they have supplies available. We use a different chemical supplier and have them as back ups.
