Maintaining Confidentiality of Supplier Identifying Information

Our company treats information that would identify co-manufacturers as confidential, and that makes it difficult to provide documentation to customers to comply with their supplier approval programs.  I would appreciate everyone's ideas on how to satisfy our customers and also follow our company's directive.

Not sure how it's regulated in US, but here in Canada it's a supplier's responsibility to provide all necessary information to their customers. It's a regulatory (CFIA) requirement

That's an interesting one. What about the possibility of working with your co-man and putting together a supplier packet that goes through the fsp, HACCP, etc. but does not name the company or location, and in the company/location section state why your company considers that proprietary information. Maybe put in a section that it is a company policy and if there are issues you can escalate it to someone over your head. You might satisfy 90% of your customers who are just looking to get some information on the FSP/HACCP/GMP of the manufacturer.

Who supplies the CLoG and CoL to the customers now, you or the co-man?
