Hydrolyzed vegetable or corn protein replacements in rice seasoning?

Hi there, I am formulating a recipe for a rice seasoning. The customer does not want hydrolyzed vegetable or corn protein to be included. Although, these ingredients do provide a significant flavour. Does anyone know of any replacements?

I'm guessing they don't want HVP for a cleaner label or cleaner product.   There are flavor enhances that can be labeled "Natural Flavor" - at least in the usa.

You could check with someone like Kerry or innova flavors.    Just search "clean label flavor enhancers".    its probably going to be a bit of trial and error finding something that works.

if they don't want any added flavor(s), then I have no suggestions.

Sensient Flavors should have options as well.
