Calibration Procedure for Temperature Data Logger

Can anyone provide calibration procedure for temperature data logger with temperature measurement range from -40℉ to 185℉. I will be very grateful.

Calibration procedure or verification?

 

For verification

1. Purchase a traceable thermometer

2. Compare results of logger vs traceable thermometer 

3. Verify results of logger are within +/- 1 degree C of the traceable thermometer

4. If verification fails follow manufacturer instructions for calibration if possible, otherwise send to external vendor to be calibrated.

 

Can anyone provide calibration procedure for temperature data logger with temperature measurement range from -40℉ to 185℉. I will be very grateful.

 

 

Reason for request (eg FS Standard) not mentioned but very likely easier to contract out if a one-off job.
