Sampling Plans for Chemical Hazards

Hello all,

First time, long time.

I am researching sampling plans for chemical testing. 

The test required is for acrylamide by LC-MS/MS.  This is required for ensuring compliance to CA Prop 65 regulations.

The matrix is 100% roasted green tea powder.

I'm finding a lot of sampling plans for microbiological testing but not much for chemical testing.

I assume we would need a representative sample due to variation but am not sure how many samples to obtain throughout the lot.

Any insight would be great.  In addition, any info for chemical testing to satisfy FSMA would also be appreciated.

So what is CA Prop 65 requirement ?

Do you have an isolated lot ?

How is it packed ?

Sounds like an expensive test.

Assuming the requirement is to determine an average concentration for a presented lot,  basic statistics are usually fairly simple although the sampling implementation may be substantial, for example if the lot variability is high.
