Cost of Food Safety Software

We are considering some software to help automate and digitize our FS&Q program.  What should we expect to pay for software that enables this?  Is this typically a subscription or do you buy and install the software?  A few we have looked at include SafetyChain, Safefood 360, Kleanz, as well as a few others.

I think you should expect to pay around $30k. It will largely depend on how much the software company implements for you and how much you upload yourself. That is a good ballpark figure. It is well worth it if done correctly. The software can act as another employee strictly dedicated to documentation and it justifies the cost.

Most of them depend on the amount of suppliers you are using and the modules of the program you are purchasing.
