Bulk Tank CIP temperature

Hello,
We are a dairy in CA. Does anyone know if there is a minimum temp for bulk tanker CIP wash? If someone can point out what page in the PMO the specified temp would be? There has to be a range for the fat and proteins to be in suspension for a successful CIP right? Thank you so much!

It depends on the chemicals used. Ask your chemical supplier.
Typically, it will be between 140 and 160 degrees. MilkFat begins to emulsify around 105 so your prerinse about 110.
As others mentioned your chemical rep is your go to for this information.
There is nothing in the PMO about wash times and temperatures. They only specify temperatures and time for hot water “sanitizing” of equipment.
