Foreign body detection in puree

Hello,

What options would be available for a  foreign body detection in puree - packed into aseptic foil bags!

I believe X Rays may be viable but not ideally for detection any potential materials from seals?

What foreign material are you envisaging coming from the seals?
IMEX with purees/juices, FB control is primarily prior to filling. Particularly for aseptic systems given that they're closed/sealed.

The metallised aseptic bags (and volume of liquid) can make post-fill detection quite challenging.

Typically for purees I'd expect to see one or more sieves, with the final one being the smallest pore size you can viable use based on the pulpy/fibrous nature of the fruits you're working with (typically these will be in the 0.5mm to 2mm range), possibly combined with a permanent magnet - the latter particularly if your pureeing process is potentially of a nature that could generate metal fragments from the equipment, but it may be useful in general depending on the nature and type of your raw materials.
